I come from a long line of shoe-lovers and was introduced to some fine shoes at a fairly young age. I’ve not been the same since. I’ve never been one to wear stilettos (although my height would benefit from them), but I can recognize the elegance and beauty in them. I love a sleek 2-inch heel just as much as a cute loafer. And don’t show me a wedge! My toes are always on display (with the proper pedicure, of course) from the earliest time of spring until well into September. In winter, I can be found in boots – knee-high as well as mid-calf, and I always have zero-impact running shoes nearby.
My love of shoes definitely inspired me to create The Souls of Shoes, but I was not merely interested in the aesthetics of shoes. I really wanted to dig deeper. I wanted to get to the soul of each shoe.
I am the mom of three creative, funny, and inventive kids who keep me smiling every day and the wife of a remarkable man who is full of inspiration. Although my time is otherwise occupied, I thoroughly enjoy writing and taking photographs (Angel Oak Photo). I am beyond blessed!
